Welcome to the Cobb County Magistrate Court’s web site. Cobb County has one of the largest Magistrate Courts in Georgia and is one of the very few courts in the United States that operates 24 hours a day. One of the primary responsibilities of this court is to issue arrest warrants followed by the determination of probable cause in criminal cases. The Magistrate Court does not determine guilt or innocence except in county ordinance violations.
