Judge Clarence O. Taylor, IV was appointed as a part-time magistrate judge in October 2007. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State University the former having been conferred in 1998, the latter in 2000. In addition to his judicial duties, Judge Taylor is a sole proprietor of a civil litigation law firm in Marietta and also conducts mediations in civil, domestic and business cases.

Judge Taylor has taught on the collegiate level, both as a graduate student and as an Adjunct Professor. He has also worked in the public school system as a school psychologist. Judge Taylor is a resident of Cobb County.
