Magistrate Court - Judge Richard L. Faber
Richard L. Faber has been a part-time magistrate since 1987. Judge Faber received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida in 1973, graduating with honors. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1973 and then to the Georgia Bar in 1974. In addition to being a Judge, Richard Faber is a Managing Attorney for the Federal Aviation Administration. He also serves as a Faculty Member for several education institutes in Georgia, the Georgia Institute of Continuing Judicial Education, North Central Georgia Law Enforcement Academy and the FAA Trial Advocacy Training Team, to name a few. Judge Faber has interests other than law. He enjoys Photography, Soccer and other youth sports. Judge Faber and his wife, Sheila, have been married for 26 years and have three children ages 23, 18 & 16.
