Timothy W. Wolfe was appointed as a part-time magistrate judge in December 2005.  He has also been an associate judge with the Municipal Court of Smyrna since 2004.  Judge Wolfe received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Emory University in 1975, and then earned his Juris Doctor from Emory Law School in 1978.  In addition to his judicial duties, Judge Wolfe also conducts mediations in civil cases.  Prior to becoming a judge, he practiced law for 23 years, in both the civil and criminal fields.Judge Wolfe is an avid photographer and has lectured at seminars for judges on the subject of photographic evidence. His community volunteer work includes teaching a GED class and performing magic shows for hospital patients.

Judge Wolfe has been a resident of Cobb County since 1979.
